Scribe Sayar, beyond unique! As a lyricist of the hip hop movemdent, Scribe easily paints vivid thoughts of a spiritual, soulful world. Versatile with the best, Scribe portrays the Quality of varous music in each solo album. Interests are wide within verbal expression such as; spoken word, freestyle, philosophy and a slight hint to potential reminiscent of Curtis Mayfield.
On the contrast, Scribe has been compared to sounds of Paris, Defari, Company Flow and Aceyalone. However these comparisons were also stated to be the only way to describe Scribes incomparable presence.
Scribe Sayar, CEO of Observatory Swivel, has the motivation to open any mind outside of afflication and become a recognized poet.
"I stand in front of enlightment /
just to thumbtac may shadow to the wall of godsent."
(1996 "In other words...")
"I stand in front of enlightment /
just to thumbtac may shadow to the wall of godsent."
Heavy lines coagulate your digestive system as you enter the atmosphere with an almost virgin ear. Throughout the years of production, Scribe Sayar almost ompatient, works a jigsaw of words into masterpieces of time travel.
"Thoth scribes deific/ indi-vi-duals/
encrust ther sun disk/ I eat words of power/
swallow spirits/ papyrus stems/
translucent emerald gems/ fill my satchel/
wit factual/ interactual/
book worms would/ fear what is not understood."
Styles come many along with concepts and aggressive know how explanation. Scribe Sayar breaks you off a whole lotta flows to conquer as his battle rhymes leave all types of scars.
"The eyelid is propped / by my microscope /
I left the great white / with no hope /
I spoke / I broke the barrier / spittin rare in the area /
of rhymes yolked / we supply the feul / the upper thinkin' tool /
tightly wound onto spool."
Critics who? This is irrelevant to a "Sayar" of expression. Predjudice people seen to have no critics, as Scribe (Mer-Ka-Ba) explains sides of the story.
"I am a seperatist / divide the evil from my righteousness / I fight predjudice /
and express through rhyme messages."
"Disregard white boy titles /
identifiable / destroying rivals /
only the purpose is held reliable / black is a state of mind /
whitey aided / and stated / the colored blind /
rich vs. poor a sign of neglect /
we all choose our thought process and cause effect."
Scribe Sayar cannot be ignored if you value lyrics, style and variety of content. Scribe not only respects the African culture / music continuum and who he has become, but proceeds as an investment to the well being of all people who respect themselves and the fact of Universal interest.
